I believe that social innovation & the power of entrepreneurship can transform communities. This belief began to take shape with NeighborLink in 2005 as a volunteer. I then spent the next 13 years as the Executive Director and saw the web-based platform mobilize volunteers to complete more than 10,000 tangible home repair projects. During my time at NeighborLink, I launched a national grassroots athletic team with over 200 athletes that raised funds for us. I established the NeighborLink Network and helped 15 US cities adopt our model and web platform. In my final few years, I created a media production company that provided story-driven videography services to other nonprofits as a way to generate enough revenue to support our own media needs called Neighboring Productions. Throughout, I have attempted to embody the vision to display practical, neighbor-to-neighbor expressions of God’s love.

Today, I spend my professional life helping CEOs build elite executive teams as an executive coach and consulting with Kairos Consulting.

I graduate from Huntington University and Taylor University’s MBA program, actively participate in multiple running and cycling endurance athletic events per year, enjoy family life in the historic Meridian Kessler neighborhood of Indianapolis, and strive to become a better neighbor each day.

My executive nonprofit and communication background allow me the opportunity to consult with great nonprofits from time to time. And, for some reason, people occasionally like me to take their photos.
