The Pletts are another great family that I went to Huntington College with. Michelle and I are blessed to have them also live within a mile from us in South Fort Wayne. It's been fun to have a handful of families all live within a mile or two of us. It sure makes continuing friendships a whole lot easier. Our daughter gave their son what I think is his first real nickname. Avery started calling him "Bobby" out of nowhere about six months ago and it's stuck since we all think it's pretty funny how it all happened. Things kids say.
The final images from this photo shoot are some of my favorites from this fall. I wasn't sure that this soccer field at the old Taylor U Fort Wayne campus was going to be the best location, but between the bright green grass, turned leaves, and the overcast evening skies, it worked pretty well. Thanks to Amanda for bringing that bench. I need to get some props to have on hand.
Both Matt and Amanda are extremely creative and I can't wait to see what they're going to come up with as their trade. We've commissioned them to tag team on name signs for all our kiddos' rooms. I expect that we'll end up with something really great.
