Hirschy Family

October 2013 - Hirschy Family - Fort Wayne, IN

I had the privilege of taking photos for the Hirschy family last fall around this time. Just looking through those pictures shows how much their kids have changed. This is the first year I've had the opportunity to shoot family photos for a family in consecutive years beyond my own family. This isn't anything earth shattering especially since photography is more of a hobby than a career aspiration for me. Nonetheless, it's fun to see how families with young kids change so much over the course of a year.

Last year, I got to the photo shoot location early to scout around and ended up locking my keys and my camera in my car. What a crazy story that way. I made sure that wasn't going to happen this year by making sure I had my keys in my hand and leaving my car window down far enough to be able to reach in. Paranoid, yes. Going to lock my keys in my car again, no!

The Hirschy's loved the locations we chose last year so much that we decided to keep the same location and just focus on some different angles. They spend a lot of time in their neighborhood walking, playing, and interacting with their neighbors, so it was fitting for them. It doesn't hurt that their historic neighborhood with its mature tree canopy is beautiful at this time of th year.

Thanks Hirschy family for becoming my first repeat customers!
